anyone else had this problem with the Zip 250 USB powered model? i can get it out using the emergency eject and a pair of needle nose pliers, but it stays in there otherwise.

iomega.com was of some help, but not much. any ideas?

Because you can't seem to eject the ZIP disk from the Finder, it's most likely due to your Mac not seeing the drive. Do inserted disks show up on the Finder? Even if they do, the drive may not be "officially" noticed by your machine, therefore Command - E not working to eject the ZIP disk. What OS are your running? Is the USB drive connected via third-party USB PCI card or native USB port?

this disk is recognized, everything is fine in that sense. I just trash the disk, it makes an ejecting sound, but it stays in there. so out come the pliers/emergency eject button combo.
