What choices are there for high speed wireless access in Toronto? Rogers, Bell and Telus look to be the only choices. Rogers is HSDPA, Bell and Telus are EVDO - I asked in the Yorkdale store and got a blank stare - so hoping someone here has figured out a way to get portable high speed data on their MBP. My boss would be happiest if I could also get a dedicated IP address - in Japan we usually pay a bit extra for this option...

I suppose I could try to tether my handset - but I would prefer just setting up a data account exclusively for data - office will pay for it, seems easier as plugging in the express card would mean it would always be available.

Many of the modems I have heard of are USB. But Bell does have an expresscard modem bell.ca - Novatel Wireless X720 ExpressCard®
