Has anyone connected a wireless system using an 8600? Please describe your set-up. My other computer is a G4. Thanks

If you mean a PowerMac 8600, I can't really say, since I am unaware of any wireless cards ever being available for these older machines.

Correct. I am trying/attempting to provide a wireless link between my G4 and an 8600 in the house. Does that shed more light on the situation? Hope so.

Besides the Linksys, check out the D-Link DWL-810+. Does the same thing, but easier set up (from what I have read). Smaller too.

What OS is the 8600 running? Proxim probably makes some PCI cards that work for you.

[Edit: See

here]
