#$%^&U* !!!

The first bloody opportunity I get to connect to the internet, no power, no phone, no nada, and what happens? No .Mac! No @mac.com email. No freakin' service.

My regular email account is down, because the community net servers are without power due to the Hurricane. But I expected that Hurricane Juan, which nailed the east coast, would not have affected Apple's West coast service!

Good thing I still have my old Yahoo! account... but those important emails I expected to be able to see today (after telling people to use my @mac account) will remain lost in the ether.

Oh - crud!

No problems with .Mac here, and I've been checking emails all day.

No probs here either. Perhaps one of the routers in Halifax is still down. That would explain connectivity to some parts of the Internet but not others.

Hi all,

yeah - looks like network problems down here in Halifax. I couldn't connect to anything that had an https: service, nor for some reason .Mac pop mail.

Anyway - finally got online today and am now wading through my 95 messages. What fun!

I plan to have some photos online soon - check out
