For free or shareware - that allows you to keep track of your money.

I'd say Quicken, since it was preinstalled on my iBook... but I'm not sure if you have it.

To be honest, I find Quicken to be a little too complicated for my needs... A simple AppleWorks spreadsheet can do the job.

I use and can recommend Moneydance. It's a cross-platform, Java-based shareware app that has worked for me through several iterations of OSX and currently works on 10.3.

The current official build is 314, which is what you get from the above URL. The developer also provides 'previews' (interim releases before the next major build) here. The current preview is build 320 which is what I'm using.

Moneydance will import your Quicken data (QIF) file so it's really easy to switch.

There is also a Moneydance discussion list which is moderately active and provides lots of useful info.
