After listening to my iTunes radio station "Fistfull of Soundtracks" for 3 years, I went to iTunes and purchased the Miami Vice movie soundtrack (I'm a huge Micheal Mann fan) The sound quality is fantastic, compared to music obtained other ways...
My first iTune purchase was the just released then U2 album "How to dismantle an atomic bomb".
I tend to rather buy the album instead of just one tune.
The Smiths - "This Charming Man (New York Vocal Mix)". It's the extended version.
I couldn't find it through "other means" so when I saw it was on iTunes I got it.
I've spent about $169 on iTunes since then. I buy mostly Canadian artists' albums or singles I like - it's nice to support them. Or hard to find/newly released UK stuff.
