This year's covid lockdown changed folks' entertainment habits enormously... and the streaming services have certainly benefitted.

What have you all been watching this year?

Some from my list:

and I've been popping in to PeacockTV.com for a Battlestar Galactica (reboot) rewatch from time to time.

Coming up, there's The Walking Dead season 10 finale this weekend (why do I bother, really?). Any other interesting series in the pipe that you can recommend?

Some that I’ve been rewatching on HBO (via Crave) include the Leftovers (how the world copes after 2% of the population suddenly disappears), Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Blood, the prison drama Oz, In Treatment (Gabriel Byrne as therapist), Treme (life in the music community of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina), and Flight of the Conchords. Also, Rescue Me is a great series about New York firefighters after 9/11 (if you can find it).

The kids and I have also discovered some of the Marvel Comic Universe, with a top favourite being Thor: Ragnarok, directed by Taika Waititi (who also did Jojo Rabbit).

I've occasionally been watching and enjoying Primal, a kinetic and dialogue-free animated series about a caveman:

I have been watching a series called Blue Bloods. It's an older cop show that comes on here twice on Mondays and Wednesdays. I used to watch Fantom Work but it was canceled after the shop owner decided all the TV stuff was to much of a distraction over what they really wanted to do. They restored vehicles.

I don't watch much else on TV but I do play video games on my PS4. I started playing video games on a PS2 while recovering from a vehicle accident and that evolved into joining a "clan" and engaging in on-line battles against other clans. We practiced a lot and became pretty successful. Even though that game has long ago ceased to be available the clan members still meet online and play together.

I also play some games on Steam on my desktop iMac.

I subscribe to some YouTube channels like Abom79. He has a small metal fabrication shop and offers videos on his machining projects.

I'm the oldest video game player I know. :heybaby:

I will still play classic DOOM--and have a certain appreciation for Animal Crossing.

I started on Castle Rock, seems like a good season to start in on some Steven King inspired horror/crime type stuff. First episode was good enough to carry on.

The boys on Amazon Prime is great stuff. Tehran looks compelling on Apple TV+

Might give Star Trek Discovery a look, but I was pretty disappointed in the first two seasons. Walking dead jumped the shark a while ago, I can't be bothered with the latest season.

October is mostly horror movies for my wife and I so we probably won't make much progress on any of those in October though.
