I've always wondered what Ehternet Adaptors (en2) and (en3) are.

Macs have only one Ethernet port. So why (en2) and (en3) and what do they do?

(to see their configs, go to System Profiler and click on Network>Locations.

Any wise ones out there?

They're used in conjunction with Parallels to Internet/Ethernet access through Windows via Parallels.
