Command+Option+ESC has been around in Mac OS 8 or earlier. Actually, I used it in Mac OS 7, so yeah. ;) Force-Quiting is nothing new. My Finder crashed again today. Messed up G3 here. :D

Today, for some reaosn, every item I had open was in the dock with a black arrow under it like there's supposed to be - except the Finder. Is that a good thing? :D

Your finder crashed..it happens.. relaunch it via the Force Quit Applications window.. you know the good old Control-Option-Esc.. or the new three finger salute in OSX

RtC - Its Command(also known as the hideous Open Apple or simple Apple Key), Option and Esc. And its been around since the old days of Mac OS 7. I'm not sure if it was there before, as I never used anything earlier then 7 with any knowledge of the system.
