The idea of controlling your Mac with your iPhone or iPod Touch isn't necessarily new, since there are existing apps that range from VNC clients to music streaming already available. But there's still something to be said for being able to have fun and even share some content easily between different Macs in the same home network.

Blacktree's claim to development fame has been Quicksilver, but a couple years back they also created a free app called Telekinesis that could forge a link between the Mac and the iPhone or iPod Touch. The idea was that by typing in the IP address of the Mac - plus the port forwarding number to get through firewalls - one could literally see their Mac screen and control some of its functions from the comfort of either handheld device.
