Hello everyone,

I've been looking for a driver to support my Kensington WebCam and I found the following link:

Macam from Sourceforge

Thanks!

They must have recently added these cameras, the last time I checked they weren't supported. I got a couple of these webcams a few years ago when they where clearing them out. I used a US$ rebate and made money on both of them!

One is a VGA (640x480) and the other is SVGA (800x600).

They work great but have never had an OS X driver...

I think I paid $20 CAD for the VGA and $25 CAD for the SVGA one. I got $30 US rebates on each. I think I made about $50 CAD total!

I'll have to try the driver in the next couple of days... The cameras are running on OS 9 running as time lapsed webcams right now... Or they were, it's been a while since they were turned on...

I forgot to mention that I use the older version of EvoCam, called Coolcam. It works quite well, but it really taxes the processor of the older PowerMacs.

I've got one of the webcams running on OS 9 on a PMac 6360. Nice and compact, but once Coolcam is running, the machine is not usable for much else...
