A couple (maybe 3) years ago Microsoft announced at a MacWorld show they were going to port just about every game they published to the Mac?

I haven't seen any kind of moves on their part since then. Not that I would really hold them to it considering their track record but it seems that little annoucement was quickly forgotten...

On a side not, I really wish they would add MAPI support to Entourage, I have a bunch of clients on OS X and the IT folks will not turn on the requirements for us to use what MS gave us in the new Entourage.

They will never add MAPI support to their crappy entourage client as they do not want any other platform outside of windows connecting to their servers.

Oh you have another type of system, well we support you through the http interface...CRAP! They suck!

Its funny how they take a protocol called IMAP and change it to suit themselves...MAPI.

Actually MacGenius, if you read that article, it's not Microsoft that promised that, but Peter Tamte. He formed a company called Destineer. I checked out their site and your right, they haven't done much.

edit: Hmmm, looks like Peter Tamte also runs MacSoft which has done quite a job bringing PC games over to the Mac (MacSoft is responsible for tons of great games), most recently Halo, so I guess Peter Tamte has kept his promise.
