"stays" / "standoffs" for common-height SuperDrive.

I can't help, but was there not an optical dive already installed that had the 4 metal optical drive guide pins you could use?

Unfortunately, there weren't.
Previous owner replaced a CTO
Combo drive with his own SuperDrive,
but with too-small, regular screws.
Also forgot to replace the EMI shield,
and to set the rear PATA pins to
Cable Select. Am looking for the
Torx-10, regular height, standoffs.

Do you have any Mac repair places in your area that just may have what you need?? Or just maybe, one of your local fastener places that just might have something or something close you could modify?

But then there's always good old good Canada grade Duct Tape or HD Velcro.
