Thanks Captstn! :) The waiting to know exactly where we are at after testing during the mastectomy is really hard. Waiting to see to what extent is had spread or not, whether she will just need radiation or if she'll need chemo. But... we take it one day at a time. Thanks for your donation. Goal is to raise $750 and we're 1/10th the way there.

Just an update. My girlfriend / partner had a mastectomy this past Tuesday. All going well so far. Pathology report comes in about 2 weeks, and we'll learn more details then.

I'm participating in the CIBC Run For The Cure in 7 days with a goal of raising $750. So far, we've reached 60% of that goal, raising $456. This breast cancer has touched my life, but I know it touches the lives of so many Canadians affecting 1 in 9 Canadian women during their lifetime. According to the latest statistics, it is estimated that 25,000 women and 220 men in Canada will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and that 5,000 women and 60 men will die from the disease in 2016.

If any fellow ehMacians would like to donate to the cause, it would be greatly appreciated.:)

Attached is that tattoo I got on my right arm for Diana. (Pink Ribbon is obvious, scissors are for the fact she's a hair-stylist) ;)

Sorry to bug you with this again. Just wanted to say... YAY.... have reached the goal of $750 and surpassing it!

A few of my old friends from ehMac donated to help out and wanted to say thanks. :)

I'm in my last semester, which is very busy (and I need to succeed), so I don't post much here, but I think of this site and the members here quite frequently. Taking Business Marketing in school and so much of the courses I am taking, I end up thinking back to running ehMac. Business Marketing is quite different than what I thought it would be. Some of it is fascinating, some of it quite boring. I'd love to have another shot at running the site. :) (Some ehMac members puke) :lmao: No really, I think everyone would enjoy it. :D

Anyways, thanks for the support. :clap: The run is tomorrow and I'll be making a little video for the fun of it.

a) I'm sorry for the struggle you both have to endure. And I'm glad you are both coping well.

b) I think I speak for the remaining people here that we would be thrilled for you to be at the helm again. No slight against the new owners, they just don't have your personality.
