A friend has a slide show burnt as a VCD on a windows machine using a program called picturetotv or something like that. He would like to have this burnt on a DVD. Anybody have experience or suggestions on how to convert the file so it can be recognized by some software to burn it on my G5?
Tks!

Why would he want this on DVD? Have him burn another VCD instead. I can't see any advantage to having it on DVD (quality, everything, will be the same, but the file size would increase) and it adds a lot of unnecessary work to boot.

He feels that there is a compatibility problem with his dvd player not playing vcd, I think that it is an older model that doesn't play jpg files (Asked him to check the specs but he hasn't got back to me about that), It works fine on the dvd player on my tv. Was going to humour him and then bug him about getting some new electronics.
