Hi All,

Does anyone have any recent experience getting a GPS like this USB unit working on OS X?

http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?InvtId=UT-41&AID=10440852&CJPID=749547

(it is a UT-41 USB 12-Channel NMEA-0183 GPS Receiver)

Any recommended software?

Thanks!

(I tried the search (terms too short) and I tried google limiting to ehmac (nothing recent or relevant in there) so I figured it might be time to refresh the topic anyway.)

I have used a GlobalSat BT-338 bluetooth GPS receiver and it connects just fine to my MacBookPro. It was a while ago so I can't remember the software I used as it was just a trial.

I've got the GlobalSat BU-353 USB, but no software currently. I'm working on programming my own, and it's fairly easy to access the underlying data.

The best software out there right now is probably RouteBuddy.
