Just recently broke down and installed Quake on my G3 Pismo. I plan to install a few othe games, as well.

I HATE playing games on keyboard. I think I saw USB Game Contollers (like Playstation type) a while back. Do they work on Mac's? Are they any good? What can I expect to pay?

As usual, thanks in advance.

I have a Macally USB that is similar to play station or whatever and operates two handed. I paid about $50 for it at Compusmart. Works fine for the games I play on my eMac. I find it difficult at times to program for each individual game though.

I've got a USB Gravis Gamepad. 8 button; digital not analog (it doesn't have those two swively sticks). I'd say it's good for arcade games and 3rd person view games (Tomb Raider, etc.).

For Quake try keyboard (movement, jump, etc.) and mouse (look and fire) set up.
