Hey friends,
I picked up a USB digital camera for my band trip to Halifax last week: $169.99 from Factory Direct in Brampton.
I was a little hesitant at first because all the literature was for PC as well as the specs printed on the box. Plus, it was a name brand I've never heard of before: Mercury.
Anyway, I called the Canadian distrubutor and they were surprisingly very well versed in the Mac. He said that I would need iPhoto running in OS X to import the pics. I could also successfully mount the camera in OS 9.
This camera rocks! It can take stills, movies (actually nice video!), audio and can operate as a web cam. All Mac compatible too.
For $169.99 this is a great deal.
