Ambrosia has just released their mac port of the very original new game Uplink.
I downloaded the demo, and I am probably going to buy it later today because I like it so much. I had the chance to play it on Windows a few months back, and I really liked it from the start.
Check it out here: http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/uplink/
Note, because this game might be on perticular interest to users of older hardware, as it only requires the following:
OS 9, or OS X 10.1 or later
64 megs RAM (128 megs or greater on OS X)
30 megs HD space (More if you are going to include the bonus material)
300 MHz G3 or higher
OpenGL compliant 3D video card required, OpenGL 1.2 or newer
CarbonLib 1.6 or newer
DrawSprocket 1.7.5 or newer
There are no graphics that really tax the system, so I think even a RagePro would work. It runs very smooth on my Rage 128 8MB.
Try it out, see what you think.
