I've decided to upgrade my iBook (500Mz/576M RAM) and trade it in on a Powerbook. My supplier is quoting me $1647.00 difference on a 12.1 inch PB/ 384 RAM with Superdrive or $1947.00 difference for a 15 inch PB/512 RAM with combo drive. Does this seem like a reasonable price to pay, or could I do better? Which model would be better for gaming? (My grandson loves to play games while we tour in the motor home). And I admit I even like to play Tiger Woods golf game to pass the time.

Well I tried the math too. So if you trade in your ibook, they are giving 902 bucks off the retail price(i got it from apple store) of the 12"AlPB. And if you go for the 15"AlPB, they give you 1052 of its retail price. Your ibook i think is worth about 500 bucks or so(?). So the are basically giving you 300 off the 12" and 500 of the 15". How I look at it its not all that bad. At least i think i got it right.
