Dear Mr. Mayor,

I'm puzzled, once again, over the moderating habits in the Trading Post. A post regarding the sale of Adobe applications has been edited to exclude the original text. A few replies were made in the thread indicating a "good deal", but it appears there is some question as to the legality of the seller's intentions. To best serve and educate those who might attempt to sell illegally, would it not be better to have added your comments to the end of the thread when locking it? It might serve as a good lesson for those who might try the same "stunt".

I question your methods as it likely leaves many of us wondering what the seller was attempting, and I think it would be better if we all had an idea of what NOT to do.

Thanks.

Just my opinion. But it seemed very clear to me reading the thread what happened. The guy tried to sell education versions of Adobe apps, and it's illegal to do so. Other boards I know would just delete the thread altogether, and PM the user.
