need a second opinion here guys... I have 2 choices for 3rd gen ipod... a used 10GB for $350 and brand new 15GB for $365+tax.. Which one would you buy? These are reasons why i'm buying ipod.. 1) portable music(of course) 2)external drive for school assignments/projects 3)external drive for M2V files and Wav files...
is the 5GB excess makes a difference?

Do you think I should buy laptop instead? :D ...not enough money yet...

You'll be getting 5GB extra, which holds over 1000 more songs, plus you will be getting a full years warranty, and you have the comfort of knowing that the unit is new and hasn't been abused.

All of the above will cost you about $75 more than the used one. So personally I would pay the $75 extra for the warranty and extra space, especially if you have .wav files and M2V files to carry around. You can fill your iPod with 10gb of music and still have room for a complete DVD-R.

But if you don't have the $75 then I'd see if you can get the 10GB for a little less than $350.
