LOL! It's a pipe dream!

Based on the article, I highly doubt that iPhone would ever officially be offered by Rogers in Canada. This would mean giving up control and forking over some dough to Apple. I don't think Rogers is progressive enough.

Plus, they would have to offer discounts on data to all of their existing customers, especially corporate customers who pay way too much for data. This would mean losing money on the bottom line. I don't think it would sell well either, because most people that wanted an iPhone already have it.

AT&T has tripled its penetration in highly profitable markets and raised its revenues substantially.

Rogers may balk at Apple's conditions, but they're not stupid. The iPhone is an industry-altering cash cow.
