It says a lot that nearly half a million people have viewed that video since it was posted on June 12, 2007. It says a lot, but it says different things.
It's hard to say what people would do if helping others was as easy as viewing a YouTube video--easy for some of us who have the technology and access to do so.
Do the really affluent, the few percent who control 95% of the world's wealth, give more of their time and funds than the rest of us?
Do new immigrants and refugees now enjoying western wealth, for example, give more than previous generations?
Are these fair questions? Are the smug juxtapositions of the video fair?
