I'm a Graphic Designer and want to buy a utilities program. I'm confused -got any opinions

Save your money and learn how to "fsck"

Otherwise, I'd say that Norton has been far kinder to me than Techtool (more specifically, the $100 turd that is Drive10)...

Drive 10 is NOT Tech tool.

I passed on D 10 myself.

If it is one or the other, get TT when 4 comes out

If you can afford it, get DiskWarrior now, and TT later

If you are running Mac OS 9.X - Techtool Pro
If you are running Mac OS X - fsck

Disk warrior is probably the best thing out there right now for OSX but I never bother with any of them. fsck is the best method and has never given me a problem.

Using the repair priveleges once in a while is also a good idea.
