My mbp will just come to a screeching hault and be super slow for no reason. Some times, random apps will take up like 96% of the CPU, it started giving me the black screen of death (always while running windows under parallels). So I did a complete wipe and re-install, but still, random slow downs. This time no hogging of CPU or memory. I'm convinced I got a lemon, the ram has been replaced, it needs to go into the shop for a new lcd, the superdrive shakes the machine and there is an odd none software related latency in the keyboard.

Any ideas with the apps peaking CPU and the random slowdowns?
