You'll need Toast Titanium to be able to Write and Erase them. W/o it, you can write, but cannot erase them.
SuperDrive and DVD-RW?
I thought I read somewhere that Apple's SuperDrive can actually use DVD-RW discs, but don't advertise it for some reason... is this true?

Hmm, Interesting, but I find it a lengthy and drawn-out process to launch Disk Utility to erase it. I use Titanium anyways to prep and author data backups, so may as well erase it there. But thanks for the tip - good to know there's at least 2 ways to erase a DVD-RW disc.
