I'm probably getting my hands on this, but then I got the feeling it'll be slow as, well... you know what. The listed system requirements are:

- 500 MHz PowerPC G3
- 256 MB of RAM (512 MB recommended)
- 500 MB HD space
- Mac OS 10.2.6

I've got the following...
- iMac DV, 400 MHz G3 (100 MHz system bus)
- 640 MB of RAM
- Mac OS 10.2.6 (will be Panther 10.3 by then)

Thoughts on performance? The original Dreamweaver MX ran like crap in OS X, so I'm not so confident about MX 2004. Crap, as in I mean slow (switching pages, opening new pages, etc).

you seem to be @ par... though I would just max the ram out. As well, what is your HD like?? If you're running stock, you would not see some improvements with a newer 7200?? ??

FYI... Fireworks MX 2004 is still slower than Fireworks 4 in Classic.

*Significantly* s l o w e r .

We won't be upgrading until OS X performance is upgraded at least to Classic speeds.

We're running it on a new dual 1.23 G4 with 1.5 GB of ram... Mac OS 10.6
