SSCI on my G5

I have an old optical drive (uses 650mb and 1.3 gb disks) and would like to get the info off the disks and burn them to dvd. What's the cheapest way to do this. Should I just buy a PCI SSCI card (do they work with OS X??) or is there a firewire and usb to SSCI??

If you still have the computer you used with the drive, you could set-up file sharing on the G5 and go that route.
Find someone with a Beige G3 that has a CD burner in it. Attach the SCSI drive, burn the data onto CDs, throw away the SCSI drive.
If you are in Victoria I could hep you widdat.
CR has the best route - we can rent you a beige with burner for a few dollars and we're not far or just put it all on one hardrive then put it in a case - much faster.
