let me add my vote.
the apple online store is complete trash. i'm never buying anything from apple online again, if not entirely, from apple.

i'm so disgusted at their service. did you know, that if you're an ADC, ordering a machine, you'd have to put your order through APPLE DIRECT, then, be forwarded to ADC? that's already the smooth part.. say, you have problems with the machine, you'd have to speak with technical support, then be bumped over to ADC for a reference number, then be bumped back to technical support. say... you want a refund, or an exchange, you'd have to deal with apple direct, then sales support, then ADC who gives you the RMA, then back to sales support for the shipping tags.

it takes 2 days to go over all the departments in the company, then 7 days to ship you a box, then 7 days for them to receive your box, and another month for your credit card to be credited - although, it takes less than 10 hours for them to take money OFF your account.

absolute trash.
i would never buy from store.apple.com again.

Recently I had to use the Apple on line store to get the Panther update disk for my G5. Well, it's November 27th and I still have not received my Panther disk yet! I ordered the disk back in October the first day it was offered.
I have called Apple and reordered the disk for a third time now and still I have not received the damn thing. Oh, and yes Apple got their payment way back in October and I got butt kiss!
Is Apple always this lame? I was going to order an iPod but if they can't get my Panther order right, how are they going to handle a more expensive purchase. WHATEVER!!
