Was musing on the outright pleasure of eating a fresh Ontario peach - juice dripping all over.......such a delight.

A spring morning...

Sunset over a lake...

BLTs with a fresh tomato and bread.......

What are your "simple pleasures"......

Homemade bread, hot out of the oven with butter.

An ice cold beer.

A hug from that special person.

An unexpected phone call from an old friend.

Driving down the highway with no special destination or time frame.

Saskatoon berry pie with vanilla ice cream.

A ice-cold pint of Creemore Springs.

A nicely aged guitar that's like an old friend.

The crisp, vivid tang in the air when you leave the city and spend a little time in the country.

'Tis the gift to be simple, 'tis the gift to be free,
'Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
'Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gain'd,
To bow and to bend we shan't be asham'd,
To turn, turn will be our delight,
Till by turning, turning we come round right.

"Simple Gifts" was written by Elder Joseph Brackett in 1848

Thinking that for but a moment, there would be peace throughout the world.
