I'm changing ISPs and would like my PC to have internet on it. I have an iMac running Tiger in my office and it currently has DSL on it. In my bedroom (approx. 20 ft away) I have a desktop PC running XP. I want everything wireless.

I know a router is the way to go but I'm clueless. I've heard they're cheap. I have no idea as to set-up or brand. Any recs/help would be greatly appreciated.

You can enable this in System Preferences -> Sharing -> Internet if you want to just share the connection from the mac to the PC without changing much of anything in your setup.

I'm using a Belkin Wireless G router & am able to share my (also wireless) internet connection with my spice's iMac & my son's PC - no problems! The router cost me around $60, & was a breeze to set up.

You're projecting.
That would be you but self-awareness is so important..... at least you can learn something. I asked for help not snide comments. Clearly, you think snideness is a form of intelligence so do us both a favor and stay out of my thread.

duosonic thanks for the info. 60$ sounds very reasonable.
