for non rogers email setup in Mail application

for some reason i cannot get Mail to send non-rogers mail via rogers SMTP in mail, i get errors and mail freezes. Oddly the settings work just fine on my iphone which itunes copied to the phone!

is there something i should be looking at on the mac in mail prefs?

you have to log into the control panel of your rogers yahoo account and enable something..i dont remember where it is off the top of my head and i dont have access to a rogers account to check for you..it definitely can be done though as i have done it in the past

just call them they will be able to guide you..
