what is a .rmvb file? i know it is video of some sort. i have all seasons os star trek ds9 (yeah, i'm a nerd, so what?) and i can't watch them....it is a crisis. any way to play these files on a mac?

Realplayer. It's one of their proprietary codecs. Very popular in China.

Lots of Piracy in RMVB. So-so quality, but SMALL filesizes, especially compared to XviD and the like.

Real Media Variable Bitrate format. Try the latest version of Real Player and see if that works. Or try VLC, it might work, too.
