They posted the process of removing the brushed-metal look from the new brower Safari using Developer Tools.

Then this guy posts he adjusted version.
I like it so I thought I would share.

Downloading this is a little safer than changing your own copy as your original is not touched, if you don;t like it then toss it.

I have successfully run both at the same time but I do not know the implications in the long run.

Hey, I'm posting this form my newly 'demetallifized' Safari. I used Metallifizer.ape from Unsanity to do it.

Why? I use a non-Aqua theme and none of the cocoa metallic apps show buttons with non-Aqua since 10.2.3.

I've used other 'ape haxies' from Unsanity all of which require Unsanity's APE Manager pref panel to work. These 'haxies' are all freeware.
