I'm trying to register my Applecare...

It keeps telling me my "zip code" is wrong for the county..

Even though its got "Canada" in the COuntry..

Asks me for a County... I put Essex...

I've tried ALLCAPS, no caps, spaces, no spaces..

Anyone else have trouble?

I had that problem, and ended up activating Applecare by phone. They were very nice about it, so it seemed that many others had to resort to the same process.

Leave the County blank. Just fill in the City field.

I ended up calling and registering.

Just extended Applecare for 2 years, saved about a hundred bucks by ordering off an ebay seller..

2nd time I've done this...

County is required..
Interesting. It has a Red Star beside indicating a required field, but when I registered AppleCare for a customer, I left it blank and was not harassed over it.

I find that often, when I have to type in my postal code, especially to an American company, it is better if there is no gap in the sequence. eg:LNLNLN

Actually, when I bought my new Mac Pro and Cinema Display from Apple, I didn't even have to register the AppleCare. They registered it for me and sent be the papers (took a week or two after I got the computer for the papers to arrive).
