I am looking for ram for a 1.25ghz(sp) G4 MDD tower.
Prices are all over the board as far as 256 & 512's go.
I know different makes are the reason, so my query is this.

What make and price did you pay for your ram?
Oh, and where did you buy it from? :D

Thanks for now.

Buy memory with a Lifetime warranty.

Most users here report good results with Kingston ValuRAM, genuine (fully tested) Kingston RAM, and SHIKA (SHIKAtronics) which is available at a lot of PC-centric vendors for a good price (a Canadian RAM maker).

I've always bought from Other World Computing; thier OWC branded memory has a lifetime guarantee and is very competitively priced.

I recommend the following brands of ram:

Crucial
OCZ
Samsung

Those brands of ram have almost always worked in any machine I have thrown them in. I had one stick of bad Kingston ram a little while ago, which wasnt replaced, so I cant recommend Kingston anymore.

Same thing with one stick of OCZ...sent them an email Saturday, Monday they replied with RMA details. By the middle of the following week I had a replacement stick of ram, a free t-shirt and mousepad. :D :D

Now that is customer service!
