Is there such a thing as QBASIC for Mac or something that interpets it like QBASIC? I really need this, and on my Mac, at that.

Try this one. I know it has been around for a long time but I don't think I ever used it.

There is no real QBasic on the mac as it is DOS based, so ayou just need Virtual PC with DOS
Real basic might help in creating QBasic but I dont have any experience with that
I have run Qbasic programs within VPC and they worked
If you dont have VPC , just stake out the trash bins on garbage night and pick up an old 386 or something, a friend of mine found a 286 PC laptop in the trash and it still worked.
QBasic was the first programming I learned, if it was Java instead I would be a lot further ahead.
What kind of program are making or running?

Real basic feels a lot like Visual Basic. Really, really close for that matter. They have a 30 day demo with some limitations (program will only run for 5 minutes)

I played around with it for a while, and I think it's a pretty good environment (for Basic - I'm a C++ programmer...)
