Just got my hands on an Ethernet card.Is it worth trying out for my DSL or should I just stick to my built in?I have a B&W 400.Just curious really.

i assume you have either Bell hi-speed (actually PPPoE) or Rogers Cable (DHCP)

the built-in card should do ya fine and less things to fiddle with.

keep the pci card in case of an emergency or if u want to play around with a 2nd network

i'm only on a b/w G3 and use the built-in even tho' i have an asanté card in there as well for testing here at "macspectrum labs" - for dr. g, they ain't dogs

I assume the PCI card you have is a 10/100 network card - if you're just using 1 network, use the built-in Ethernet - it's a 10/100 connection as well. Both the PCI card and built-in Ethernet are the same speed. You only need both if you want t run through 2 networks (or you could get a router).
