For this month's meeting, Thomas Leroux will be demonstrating Parallels, an application that will let you run Linux, Windows, or any other Intel-based OS on your latest Macs without having to reboot. We will also cover the past month's Mac-related news, including the imminent release of DRM-free music in iTunes As well, meeting regulars will also be providing software suggestions.
The meeting takes place at our usual haunt, Patty Bolands, located at 101 Clarence Street in the Byward Market. It begins at 1 p.m. and will go on until we're ready to leave, which is usually around 4 p.m.
Again, the meeting is on Sunday the 3rd of June, 2007. We hope to see you all there! Just look for the Mac laptops.
Thanks...although, technically, I'm living in Carleton Place.
I've always owned and use a good mix of PCs and Macs for my work. That's also the big reason I'd like to visit the ByMUG meeting this Sunday: Parallels!
Anyway, don't worry, I'll leave the HP at home...this time.
