If you know of any web links that carry yu through the initial OSX install quite nicely, would you mind directing me to it. Thanks.

No need for links online -- installing OS X is easy as pie. Simply insert the OS X CD, and click on the Install icon. It will ask you to restart your computer (if you're installing Jaguar) and will bring you to the OS X installation screen. From there, it's a step-by-step procedure, and you'll have OS X installed in no time.

csonni,

I've done three Jaguar installs this week alone... just finished the last one, on my old iBook (300mhz).

Extremely easy install process. The only things to keep in mind:

1/ if you already have OS X 10.1 on your hard drive, it s generally agreed that choosing "Options" and selecting "Archive & Install" gives you the most stable result.

2/ hm. I think that's it. There is no #2.

Go install, amigo, and then run with the Jaguars!

:D
