I was just on the microsoft support page (trouble-shooting my boss's PC, as usual - he should have the BlueScreen of Death as the background, it comes up often enough) and found this lovely snippit of "wisdom" in their FAQ.

"Why can't I receive new e-mail messages after installing MSN Explorer Version 6?
If you want to use a POP3 e-mail client (such as Outlook or Outlook Express) to check your e-mail messages with MSN, do not install MSN Explorer Version 6."
followed by this:
"Outlook Express 6 Is Available for Download
This new version of Outlook Express is included with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6."

When dealing with Microsoft tech Support, I suspect Buffy Summers says it best:

"That's insane troll logic!"

That's as bad as the time I went to open a MS-Project 2000 document in MS-Project 98. It gave me a message that I needed a converter and did I want to download it. I said sure. It sends me to a web site that says unfortunately there is no converter and there never will be. Ummm... why did you say there was one.
