Sorry. but "It's A Wonderful Life", "A Christmas Carol" and then "A Christmas Story" make the Christmas "hat trick" for me.

My hat trick would be "Badder Santa", "Groundhog Day" and "Elf". Ok, maybe Groundhog Day is not officially a xmas movie but a classic holiday movie...sort of.

What, doesn't everyone like a good Sci-Fi movie during Christmas?!? So it's a Sci-Fi thriller, even better. It's either that or another Die Hard movie!

The last Alien vs Predator movie was good. I'll have to check out the trailer of this one.

What'd you want to put that Alien vs Predator movie on your list for? You'll put an eye out!!!!

I agree with Dr. G and GuyToronto, and would find myself pretty much merging their lists... usually I'd go for the Alastair Sim "Christmas Carol", though sometime's Reginald Owen is nice for a change.

And don't forget the other Christmas "classic" from Bob Clark (who died this past April) the man who brought us "A Christmas Story" also brought us "Black Christmas" (and "Porkys"... but somehow that one doesn't make my Christmas movie list)

I would also suggest saving the choicest bits of the english language (implied in "A Christmas Story" and sprinkled generously through Die Hard I) for anyone who colourizes anything that didn't start that way from these lists.
