Since Apple have always been the ones to adopt new tech fairly early - and some might say prematurely, though I will not - how long do you think before they take this one on?? I read about all 108 Mbps here.. This could get wild... :D

I don't know about this one.

The same company apparently back in April announced a 90 Mbps technology.

As well, 108Mbps is suspiciously 2x the standard 802.11g standard of 54MPs which makes me wonder if they are not actually trying some 'doubling' technology like they tried with modems back in the mid 90s.

The limitation affecting most people is in the bandwidth offered by their ISPs. Even 802.11b saturates most cable and DSL lines. The point is, there is no compelling reason for having such high transmission rates for most people. This will be a niche product, if that.
