New iPhone! Unlocking in 2 hrs. Any last-minute tips / tricks?

Hello all - just picked up an iPhone from Boston.
Am waiting to get home to my iMac before I start to unlock.
Have read lots of threads / posts on the process (thanks to everyone who's taken the time to post their experiences) - I'm hoping it will work for me.
Any tips for me before I start?
Any things you would do differently than you did for your iPhone?

Thanks in advance.

just be patient during the process. I just did it yesterday with the modmyiphone.com tutorial, and, following the instructions correctly had no problem.
Thanks. Worked like a charm. 1 hour end-2-end.
Activation and Jailbreak didn't work the first time, but seemed to do just fine the second time around. I'm glad I was patient instead of panicking and changing things.
Absolutely love this phone. Well worth the price.
I noticed two unlocking software, unlock.app and anySIM.app. Which one did you use? And, which iTunes version is yours? Thanks.

Can anyone explain the difference between those two unlocking softwares? Does it matter to unlock iPhone with iTunes 7.4.2? I am thinking to get my iPhone next week.
I am getting my phone next week, it is already in the mail from a buddy who did me a huge favour. Nonetheless, from what I gather it is unlock.app but wait for another response just to double check. I believe as well that you should not download iTunes 7.4.2 because some are not entirely sure if it will work or if it will brick your phone. Check out modmyiphone.com they have lots of good info and a great guide!
I used Unlock.app and the latest version of iTunes
ahh soo much instructions... how many hours does it take to unlock... ok now the question.... when you unlock do you leave the AT&T sim card in the phone or did you plug in your Rogers/Fido from the start?

my experience is with the firmware version 1.0.2. Not sure if this helps you.

Keep the ATT card in the phone until the instruction asks you to take it out and put your own SIM into it. This assumes that you haven't done anything to the phone yet.
What about for PC users using Windows XP? Is there a tutorial around for this??
Windows -- use iBrickr for jailbreak, activation and installation of the AnySIM .pxl file
