I recently noticed that on my MacBook (CoreDuo) that NCQ was not enabled.
I upgraded my drive last year to a 120GB Western Digital Scorpio. Both the drive and the MacBook should support NCQ, but it is disabled for some reason.
I've even reformatted the drive, and have upgraded to Leopard.
Does anyone know any background information on NCQ, how enable (possibly in EFI), and how much of a performance gain you get with it?
