ok i have 256 and with Memory Stick my free memory is marginal to say the least

Should I go for a 256 chip at some 90 dollars or a 512 chip at $211 for Kingston quality or perhaps half that for generic chips I know that Kingston is the Rolls Royce of chips but is the "name brand" worth that much more? Are Generic chips perhaps worth their bargain prices

Input people please

my imac had 256 in it as well. i first put 512mb extra (768mb total) in the 144 slot. i found it to freeze alot (could have been bad ram). i then exchanged it for a kingston 512mb for the 133 slot. it works wonderfully now. the next step is to get kingston 144pin 512mb to give me a gig...i can't wait.
