Ok, you Mac-using RPG freaks. You've got it. Stop yer whining.

A major RPG is being released TODAY for both OSX and Windoze. This isn't a hybrid disc - there's actually separate distributions for each platform. This hardly ever happens, and the developers at Quicksilver should be applauded for their multiplatform efforts, especially since the Mac RPG market is about a billionth of the size of the one for the PC.

A preview of the game can be found here:

MOO3 an amazing 4X game (exploration, expansion, extermination, exploitation) that'll have you glued to your monitor for months while neglecting things like work, family, food and basic personal hygine.

You can buy it online at Amazon.com:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005Y4Q5/ref=ase_quicksilverso-20/103-3434661-1303028

or from your friendly neighboorhood Mac dealer.

I've never tried any of the MOO games. So, I've gotta say that the screenshots look... "interesting." It looks more like strategy-simulator than RPG, but like I said I've never tried the series. The review says there is real-time combat, but there aren't any screenshots of any sequences which would have been a good idea (unless those star-map shots are the combat sequences  )

I looks like its got lots of depth and micromanagement; very involving and time consuming.

I've just gotten back into Deus Ex, after a year (so says the date stamp on my last saved game) of not playing it. It's such an awesome game.

Ahh, Master of Orion, one of my all time favorite games. I still have the original, it is installed on my iBook. It is pretty much the only thing that I use classic for.
