Can the community help me out. I am sitting down to make a Christmas Wish List.

Not looking for a Mac just yet. I am looking more for the gadgets. What will be that one gadget for your computer that you hope is under the Christmas tree?

I'd love to see a new USB scanner with negative/slide
scanning capabilities under the tree, I have a suitcase full of
negatives from the 70's that I'd like to transfer to CD's.

Dolawren, I am in exactly the same situation. My negatives and slides from the 60s/70/80/90's (what do we call the 00's?) are in need of digitizing. I am still looking for a Panther compatible slide scanner. Epson has brought out a new scanner just below the Perfection 3200 series that looks interesting.

Heart, it would seem somehow, that your bringing up of the Christmas season has been received much better by ehMacers than my attemp a scant week or so ago, when I started the thread "The Christmas Tree". At that time I got dumped on for being too early for Christmas and the thread promptly died. Too bad in my opinion, as I thought it had real potential.

That being said, I would like a copy of Toast Titanium 6 or Tiger Woods PGA Golf 2004.

Merry Christmas!

;)

Sinc, I didn't think that your "The Christmas Tree" thread was too soon. Some of the stores are already having Christmas sales, pre-Boxing Day White sales, pre-pre Easter sales !?!? As well, your thread was a "kinder, gentler" thread, one of tranquility and free from talk of war and hate. Start it anew with some fresh posts.

I have only one Christmas tree story to share, but it's a bit bland.

No kidding...I went to Canadian Tire to buy some garden
supplies and to my surprise when I got there...The garden
section was gone!!!, It had been replaced with Christmas
decorations.

I went from store to store and all were the same...Well...
In my neck of the woods anyways.

I hadn't even finished raking all the leaves...
What am I supposed to use?
A snow blower?
Yeesh!!!

All I want for Christmas is...

My two front teeth ;)

Ok, I have my two front teeth, but personally I'm looking forward to getting a dog. My mom decided that our Christmas present this year for the kids would be a dog. (After 15 years of persuasion, we get one just when I'm going to be leaving home :( ) My brother is picking which one tonight. (FWIW, it's a Beagle-Pomeranian cross.)

If all goes well, I'll be getting myself a 12" PB later with an iSight and iPod. But, only after I have gotten gifts for everyone else in my family. The giving is more important then the receiving.
