Because unlike virtually every other article on the Globe's site, comments on this one are fully moderated, i.e. posts are reviewed by a mod before being made public, rather than the usual freedom to post and be flagged by other readers if you offend or otherwise disrupt.
I guess I am. I guess I like more than a link at the start of a thread, so that there is some context. You could have put a quote so that people at some idea what this thread is about. Here, something like this:Thanks for contributing. My goodness you're a needy little poster aren't you.
